WitnessAI, an AI security platform, has raised $58 million in a strategic funding round led by Sound Ventures, with participation from Samsung Ventures, Qualcomm Ventures, and others. The funds will be used to accelerate global expansion and enhance its AI governance solutions. WitnessAI also announced new features to strengthen AI agent security and observability, protecting generative AI deployments from risks such as prompt injection attacks, data exfiltration, and compliance violations. The platform enhances accountability for autonomous systems by monitoring AI agent activity and linking human and agent identities.
